UX issues with the app

How is this (+) a like button ? What is wrong with the user experience designers at Spotify? Can you not add a CTA for add to playlist and one simple old like button (heart) ? How difficult is that?

I wonder this every time a new update comes out. It's like they don't actually use their own app.
