Video Quality Is Poor on Desktop

When playing podcast videos on the Spotify desktop application, the quality is very poor. When checking the settings, there is no option to change video quality.

I've tried to respond to this thread 3 times and received errors everytime I try to provide extra tangible feedback.

I'm suffering with the exact same issue and no troubleshooting steps are actually resolving the issue, looks like another reason to move to another platform.

I agree, there is no help on this issue. I believe they are doing this on purpose in anticipation of the new higher paid tiers...I am also starting to think about changing platforms, especially with almost everything I listen to on Spotify being available on Youtube Music..

Absolutely, I cancelled mine earlier today.

I originally thought it was the podcast producers only uploading in low quality but after doing tests on really high production value podcast that pretty much blew this theory out of the water.

Yet I can go to a competitors platform and have no issues!
