This year's Spotify wrapped has been a big fat mess of low efforts, bad theme, misinformation and ai generated "genres"(which im not even sure you can even call them).
The way it shows your statistics is just bad to be honest. This year you didn't show top genres that you've listened too (I don't know if TikTok could be a reason to that since everybody on there was talking about how they got "pov:indie" on top of "indie" which didn't make sense since "pov:indie" isn't an actual genre and that "pov:indie" is just "indie" with no difference between the two so called "different" genres).
Then when you did show the genres(if you can even call it that) one has been listening to throughout the year it was just a bunch of absolute nonsense that did not make sense at all. For example people got "mulled cider core" "lovecore catwalk nightcore" and it is absolutely laughable at how ridiculous all those names are and they sound like an ai came up with them (which is probably what happened).
On top of that the listened artists and songs are so inaccurate. To be honest this years Spotify wrapped was just a big hot mess of pure nonsense, misinformation and the biggest downgrade from the 2023 wrapped. This years wrapped being such a low effort ON TOP of all the terrible "updates" you've been doing this year (such as removing the liked button, removing genre sortation, horrendous shuffling between songs where the same 8 songs always gets chosen) and then proceed to ignore all the criticism and feedback you get for making the app even more terrible than it already is, is just making Spotify a sh1itty app.
So sad to see Spotify turning into a hot mushy mess like this I really hope that you actually begin LISTENING to what people have to say about all your terrible and unconventual updates instead of just ignoring them.
Long story short this years wrapped was pure BS.
Top genres were gone and instead replaced with made up AI slop genres that was utter nonsense. Incomplete/misinformation. Low effort and an ugly theme. Stats.fm is more accurate than Spotify itself (which is in itself embarrassing). Plain boring, absolute nothing interesting unlike the other years where you had stuff like music aura, countries, your year as a movie etc. I mean come on the girl next door is less sloppy than the whole Spotify team.
Oh well its not like Spotify is going to either see this message or actually any message in this comment section we've got the WHOLE Spotify app as proof of you guys incapability too listen to any kind of feedback or criticism.
