Xbox one no connection

My sons Spotify app on Xbox says it has not connection. I have verified the device has a strong enough WiFi connection. I have reset the device and uninstalled/reinstalled the app. None the steps taken resolved the issue. I have also confirmed Spotify works on other WiFi connected devices in my home. 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Having the same issue from my Smart TV, it allows me to connect from my phone but still keeps the same "Check your network connection" message on the screen. Tried uninstall and reinstall, restart TV, clear data and cache, connect to different wifi, nothing has worked so far. All other apps work fine.
