I am a premium subscriber. Over the years Spotify has been a great service, but the intrusion of podcasts onto the platform is unbearable. They absolutely clutter the main page in the web and app. They come up in searches.  I do not listen to them, I do not like them, I do not want them.  There are many threads on this forum about providing the option to hide or remove them.  Time and time again we get pointed to feature requests that are closed as "will not implement at this time".  I get it. You don't ACTUALLY care about us as your customer otherwise you WOULD give us simple check boxes on the types of content we want in our Spotify experience. I am a developer. This stuff is trivial. Instead you care about forcing it down my throat.  Just be honest with us.  

So I'm going to ask again. Please make this an option. Otherwise the outcome is simple. I'm going to cancel and go away. I know the truth. You won't care, because I am a peon account. I am background noise in your financial analytics. I hope that one small checkbox in my settings menu is worth the hate you are getting over this trivial small ask.
