Can't change my email

Hi

I am trying to change my password and email address in my profile settings and I keep getting a mesage saying "Invalid post token".

How can I change these?

That is strange, can you try using a different browser and see if that makes any difference?

I just ran into this issue on Chrome, and moving to IE worked.  But c'mon, that's a lousy solution.  Make it work on Chrome.

It should work fine, these issues are normally caused by a broken cookie - clearing *.spotify.com cookies will normally fix it. 😉

I setup my account with a spotify email yjay i haven't used in a long time and i don't remember the password for it. I would like to change my account email and password but i can't also remember my password for that email. I have been using my facebook account login details for a long time so this wasn't a problem, but since i can't login to the webplayer with the facebook button i would like to retrieve my account email and password. Any help?

Four problems:

1) email account retrive

You said you login to your Spotify account using Facebook?

Try logging into this page using Facebook:

https://www.spotify.com/accounts/profile/

You can change your account email on that page

and password on this page

Hi!

I have problems changing my email adress. I log in by my user name and password and when i go to my account there is my old email which I never use. I want to use my new email, which I have been using for years, so that I can read emails from Spotify and so on. So I try to change it to my new one but it says my new email is already taken. I guess it´s taken by me, but I don't remember it, since I am the only one with my email adress in the world. (I can't understand how my old email is still there!) But since I can't log in by email, only user name, it´s impossible to change my email to my new one.

So, how do I do this?

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Is there seriously no way to change your email address if you didn't sign up with Facebook? I signed up with just my email, but as of next week, it will no longer be active. I know my Password and Username, but what if I forget it later on in time? Then what do I do? Scrub the account? Spotify is a joke. When you sign up with an email, you can't even put a flipping profile picture. Will be switching to I heart Radio if this doesn't get resolved.

I accidently typed in the wrong email. I noticed after I submitted. I am trying to get a receipt emailed to me. When I try changing the email it says that I have the wrong password although I don't.
