Cannot Update Country. No German Bank Account.

Hi,

I'm a military member living in Germany.  Once i hit my 6 months of free unlimited use (with ads) I became frustrated as I have no choice in where I am stationed.  I relented into just purchasing premium.  Upon attempting to do so it continuously fails.  Upon further investigation it appears that my country is set to Germany in my 'Profile' and I was trying to purchase with a US bank account.  Mind you I am not a germany citizen;  So getting a German banking account is out of the question.

Is there nothing I can do?  Or will I just be unable to use Spotify services?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

You should be able to subscribe since Spotify is available in the USA. 

There are 2 things you should try:

1. Use a USA proxy server to log into the Spotify website and then change your country to USA. Once that is done you will be able to use your USA payment method. 

2. Get in touch with the customer services team using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you in changing your profile country. 

Once you get your subscription up and running, you can use Spotify anywhere in the world.
