By accident my work-fb was connected to our private spotify.

How do I change to my wifes fb?

This should fix it:
1. Disconnect your Spotify account from Facebook.
You can do this in your Spotify Preferences (Spotify » Preferences in Mac and Edit » Preferences in Windows)

2. Exit Spotify.

3. Log in to your Facebook account in your web browser.

4. Run Spotify again and reconnect to Facebook.

I started spotify a few months ago and connected it to facebook. I have since deactivated my facebook account because it's a distraction for work, but i want to keep spotify; but spotify won't let me log in bc it says i have to be on facebook to log in. Also, I don't have a mac so my preferences don't read as you typed above. How do i disconnect from facebook and only login through spotify alone??? please help!

You can't, you need a Facebook accout to use Spotify. Only users who signed up before September 22nd 2011 can have a non-FB login.
