Facebook Integration a terrible idea

This is more of a complaint than a query.  

The Facebook integration that Spotify has set up is not only useless but completely isolating for customers. 

I had deactivated my account in order to complete my MA in peace for the next month.  I received an email saying there had been problems with my Premium account payment and could I look in to the problem.  I assume the deactivation of my account was the cause of this.  I tried to contact Spotify in order to rectify the situation.  It turns out you have to reactivate your Facebook account just to send the customer feedback/help contact form.  This is disgustingly poor for a company that is supposed to give customers greater freedom and ease of use.  

Spotify, you seriously need to consider allowing customers greater control of how they activate their account or else you will lose customers. It will only take another company to copy your platform but with better accessibility and privacy.

So. Poor.

You don't need a Facebook account. When you sign up, you are given a choice to either access Spotify with a Facebook account or to create a separate Spotify account.

You have chosen to use your Facebook account, so obviously you have to keep it active!

Obviously consenting to something at one time is not the same as consenting to it forever. Logically, if choosing to use a Facebook account means having to keep it active, but I do not want to keep it active, I have to get rid of using Facebook. But that's an option Spotify so far seems to refuse for its users.

Although it does appear to be down to a technical limitation of not being able to change usernames for whatever reason.
