Gift Card Screw Up

I bought a gift card for my daughter and the email receipt had a link that said "Click here to redeem code". Since I didn't see a code on the receipt I thought I had to click the link to GET the code. Unfortunately, clicking the link applied the code to MY ACCOUNT. I already have spotify premium so this is a waste of $30.

On top of all the inconvenience, the only way to contact SPotify is through an online form that (in my experience) takes at least 3 days to get a reply.

I feel like cancelling all 3 premium accounts that I currently pay for.

In the meantime, my daughter can't use spotify on her new iPad that she got for Christmas. Sure would be nice if Spotify would just send me a receipt and send the damned link to the person getting the gift like I expected them to do

There should have been a place to put the recepient's email address when you made that purchase. Did you fill in your daughter's email address?
