Gift card: Code is invalid

Greetings! So I just bought a gift card but when I write in the PIN, it says the code is invalid.. I've written the code correctly and I don't see what I couldv'e done wrong.. Any other way of redeeming it? Such as with the Card #?

Okay, so I just realized the problem.. I bought the card but did not get it activated.. Therefore, the card is not charged. I was told to come back tomorrow evening but I'd rather solve it now if possible. So once again, could I use for example the card number to verify that I own it?

Welcome to the Community. Unless the card has been activated in-store, there isn't a way to add it to your account, I'm afraid.
