Help, I unlinked Facebook and lost all my Playlists!

Ugh, I can't believe I messed with this. I thought unlinking my Facebook would refresh some of the Facebook Social information (recently friended someone and didn't see his information on Spotify).  Unfortunately I guess I originally created my account with Facebook so when I did this it somehow deleted my information and is recognizing me as a new user.

Is there any way I could recover that information??  I spent a lot of time crafting my lists...and it sucks to lose them.  Plus I was thinking of upgrading in the next couple months.  Not really something I care to do if it's going to be this easy to lose my information...

Please let me know where I can e-mail you my information so I can hopefully get this straightened out.

Hi Richard,

I have a similar problem... I logged into my account from a computer where another (premium) spotify user was present, it all got messed up with my account being inextricably linked to his.

Hoping to fix that I unlinked my facebook account from spotify... as it seems I'm now disconnected from the other account but I've lost all of my playlists... do you think you could do a magic as you did above and save me please?

Seems I've done the same problem as listed above! Mind helping delete my duplicate account and relinking back to my original shannonh90 account! I dont want to lose my premium subscription!

Same thing happened to me! Uchecked Facebook and I was  switched from Premium to Basic and lost all my lists! Help PLEASE!!!

I seem to be having similar issues... Except I deactivated my facebook for a bit. Since I created my Spotify account with my Facebook login information, when I deactivated it, Spotify wouldn't let me login, so I created a new account here, and managed to link that with facebook, which inadvertently re-activated facebook... But all my playlists and music are gone. 😕

 

I've tried to login with the different accounts to try and get my playlists back, but no go. Is there any chance of restoring my music? 😞

I also lost my playlist and it is not linked to my premium account on FB. Now is asking me to suscribe again

I am having the same issue.....I am unable to get any playlist from my computer or phone.

andgarzon - You've just made a second account through your Facebook. If you follow the steps in this post with your 'anddgarzon' username you'll be sorted.

khinz - How many playlists are you missing? There isn't a history of any playlists in your 'khinz' account.

Hi lhduh - Did you receive an automated message directing you back to the FAQ and Community? If so you need to reply again directly with your message.

I have made the same mistake could you possibly tell me my spotify username so I can gain access to my original account?

I just did the same thing. I had a hefty lists of playlists that I would like to get back. I tried to contact customer service and got an email that basically said "read the forums, we won't need to be getting back to you about this." But I'm pretty sure I need some help from an actual person. Please? Until now, I thought I wanted to upgrade, but I'm reconsidering. 

I received the automated message. What do you mean by reply directly? I didn't seen any option for that.

Just reply to that message from your email, and your reply will go straight to a customer services agent.
