Well I decided to download the new version of Spotify, and its terrible! I cannot use it... Does anyone know how to get the old version back?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

You can unofficially roll back to the previous version and prevent it from updating by following the steps outlined here.

I am sure Spotify would be interested to hear your feedback on the new client, the main feedback topic is here (link to summary post).

I tried your solution but I was confused. I downloaded it  and the new version just came on, I did select the old version too. I tryed to contact spotify but they just sent me to the community. If someone could post a tutorial on Youtube it would be so helpful!

It looks like something went wrong during the uninstall/install. 

Can you try again, but this time double check that once you uninstall, all the Spotify files are removed from your computer? The main folders you need to make sure are gone are:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Spotify\

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\
