Problem with Searching playlists

Dear Spotify,

I've been trying to publish playlists to the general public for a few months (I'm a part of a company, and we want to offer playlists through spotify for different products). They are listed as 'Public'. The playlists we create are not searchable though; we are able to link to them easily, but they do not come up in searches; the most I can gather is that you have to 'follow' a person to be able to access their playlists, except that you can't seem to find people either!

Is there a simpler way of doing this? Are we just missing things entirely? Do we have to obtain permission to do this through spotify/purchase one of the subscriptions?

im having the same problem here, my playlists are nowhere to be found and they made public, stupid facebook integration

I can't quite figure out the playlist, but to search for other users you have to type "spotify:user:username" into the search bar.
