Referral not working

Hi, I just started using the spotify referal program, but it somehow doesn't seem to work.

I only get "Clicks" instead of earnings, even though people register with my personal link, can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?

Also, is it normal to not get a Welcome/Validation-Mail after registering?

Hi there BlkChockr. Our FAQ on the referral program here should clear up these questions. 

You should receive a code to redeem once 5 friends have signed up.

it was exactly that FAQ Page, which lead me to the referal program in first place 😉 But as I said, when I go to http://www.spotify.com/refer/ and spread my personal link, I only get "Clicks", but no "Earns", even though people sign up and not just click the link. Why is that?

Hi BlkChockr - If your friends aren't using those personal links you've sent out then it won't be credited to your account. Is that what's happen here?

Could you post a screenshot of your stats so we can take a look?

Here you go... And yes, I saw two of them registering with the link by myself and it still wouldn't count! 😞

How long ago did they register? Was this just yesterday?

Mine is doing this as well. I got around 5 people to sign up but all I'm getting is "clicks".

I have the SAME problem. My friends joined to Spotify and I only got "Clicks". What do I do???

I need to wait a little bit more or what?

Hey @Rvinam ! Welcome to the community 🙂 

I would give it at least 24 hours to update itself before going any further with troubleshooting. 

If you are still not getting your expected results after that time, instructions on how to get in touch with the referrals team (since they have special contact details) can be found at the bottom of the referral program help page.

do you mean that you have to have 5 friends sign up before you receive the credit to your account? i know more then five of my friends signed up but i've only received three months worth of credit!!! very annoying you guys email us this crap that doesnt work!

@kfelic4 - If you could get in touch here someone will be able to check that out for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
