Slow startup

Spotify uses 3 minutes now to start up...

This is crazy... My pc is not that ola... 3 years or something and runns fast (just formatted and reinstalled)

Is there any updates soon that makes this faster?
My opinion way to much "apps" (not up to user to choose ones)
and gadgets in spotify now. that slows it all down...

do it simplel, stupid 🙂

What Spotify version are you running?

Have noticed this too, with recent version. Running on a top(ish) spec Dell XPS + Windows 8...

What's going on? WTF is it doing in those 2-3 minutes? Devs please remove those programmed in delays! 😉

Since latest upgrade the whole system is slow, Spotify have really lost it now

Spotify is so slow at startup that I have been using it much less in the last weeks/months.

I wonder if it is still such a good product.

I'm sure Spotify is getting worse I'm just about at the point where its going to be deleted and subscription canned, this is beyond reasonable for a service I pay for all I get these days is pissed off and frustrated. Sort ya **bleep** out Spotify or stop charging for an amateur service.
