Spotify on 2 different computers

Spotify on 2 different computers

Hi,

I use Spotify on my home and work computers.  It appears that some of my playlists are synced between computers (when I update one on my work computer it has been updated when I get home) but some playlists, like my 'Starred' playlist, are not synced.  This results in having two seperate Starred playlists which is rather confusing/annoying.

I've read a few different posts on the boards about similar issues so it appears this is an issue a number of people are also experiencing.

Any help would be great 🙂

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Are either of your clients on version 0.9.0.x? (Help > About)

If so, there is a playlist sync issue in that version when you make large changes to playlists. The new client, v0.9.1.x which is currently rolling out should fix this automatically for you once it hits your systems (they will auto-update as normal).

For any playlists they aren't going into sync (its a bit awkward with starred), if you drag and drop the tracks into a new playlist 100 tracks at a time that new playlist will go into sync for you.

Hi Peter,

Thanks so much for your speedy reply.  I've checked the version of my Spotify client at work and it's: 0.9.0.133.gd18ed589.  I will check the version of my client at home when I get back tonight.  So it seems like my issue may be resolved with the new update.

I'll create a new playlist and copy 100 or less tracks over and check it when I get home.  Thanks 🙂

Adam
