When ever I try and edit lyrics for tunewiki i Spotify, it says: Spotify user is not an editor. My Facebook account works for logginf in to spotify.com and tunewiki.com, so I should be able to edit lyrics freely. Why is this happening?
Issues with spotify... the error message says spotify user not an editor can you look into it again and not just pass the buck like every other forum seems to do
You have to log in separately to Tunewiki. Press the cog button at the top right and there should be an option to "Sign in".
Note that I don't have Facebook so I simply created a new Tunewiki account that isn't connected to Facebook and it worked fine (I synced a couple of tracks)
The same has happened to me.
I cannot see anyway to contact tunewiki to complain that I can't edit.
Hi,
I had this same problem. I think the issue is that I was previously logged into TuneWiki using Spotify login credentials, and it must be that the newest version of TuneWiki requires the use of its own kind of credentials (Facebook link, for example).
I fixed my issue by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner, then clicking Sign Out, then clicking Sign In, then clicking the Login with Facebook after checking the "I Understand" check box. Once I did this, I was instantly able to save my lyric edits.
Hope this helps.
