Hello
I have been having two spotify accounts for a while now and it annoys me. first i had a free user. Then i used an offer by my telephone company to get half a year of free premium. the y ahd to create a new account for this because they could not merge them
The problem is that whenever i want to access my playlist from a friends user spotify directs to my old free user account with my old playlists that i do not use any more. How do i change this so that my name is linked to my new acocunt and i can access my new playlists from friends accounts? I have linked both accounts to my facebook account
This was not what i asked for... As i wrote in the first message the playlists of my old account is outdateed and i dont use them anymore. What i want to is to be able to link my person to my premium account. So that i can find my playlists when im, in example, using my sisters spotify account.
If my friends goes to my spotify page they see my old account. not my new one
Hey 🙂
Do you log in using a Spotify username and password or Facebook on your new account?
If you log in with Spotify, you can search for your playlists inside someone elses account by typing "spotify:username:<username>" where <username> is your log in name.
If you use Facebook to log in, head over to one of your own playlists whilst signed in as yourself, where it says "You" in the "User" column right click and select copy Spotify URI.
If you paste that into the search field or text editor it will give you the string you need to search for to get to your profile.

Get your head out your ass and do something about it! You expect me to keep paying for premium with this **bleep**ty customer service!!? This is my old account number: 119148577. I DONT want it connected to facebook and all my friends. If you cant fix it delete it!
I have one Premiem account through Spotify and one free one through Facebook connect. I think their both connected to my gmail account. I want to get rid of the free one on Facebook. Also, I just got a new Mac, downloaded the Spotify App, logged into my Premiem account and don't see any of my playlists?????

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
Just drop the customer services team a message using the online contact form and they will be able to delete your duplicate account for you. If you get an automated email reply, just reply directly back to that message.
As for not seeing your playlists, are you sure you are logged into the correct account (with your Spotify login details - not your email address)? If so, try logging out and back in again.
