Unlinking Facebook from Spotify

I installed Windows 8 today and went to install all the programs that I had before on again. Since reinstalling Spotify there seems to be facebook rubbish all over it and with no way to get rid of it.

I signed up to Spotify a long time ago (must have been around about when it first became available in the UK), presumably before this facebook thing became mandatory and I don't appear to have the option to delink it in the preferences.

Ignore/delete this post. Turns out that I have 2 spotify accounts for some reason and I logged into the newer one.
