Unsubscribe from emails

I've unsubscribed from Spotify emails dozens of times, yet I keep receiving emails. This is very annoying.

I've read through the forums and checked to see if I had another account through Facebook, and I guess I did. I'm not sure how that works. I never signed up for Spotify through Facebook. I signed up for Spotify before Facebook was required. I did, however, link my Facebok and Spotify accounts.

Anyway, when I sign in with my Facebook credentials, all of my email subscriptions were unchecked. So far, so good. However, when I sign in with my Spotify credentials, the Spotify News email checkbox was checked. And there was a red error message around my email address saying that there was already an account with that email address. What does that mean? How can I have two accounts with the same email address?

Either way, please unsubscribe me from all Spotify emails and let me know why I have two accounts when I only signed up for one.

You actually have 3 accounts. You have your original Spotify account, and 2 created through Facebook. These were probably created by accident. Would you me to delete them?

Yes, please. How does something like that happen? I don't recall creating those other two Facebook accounts.

Cool, deleted. There are a few ways this can happen, the most likely is clicking on a Spotify link on Facebook and clicking on 'I don't have Spotify'.

Anyway, it's sorted 🙂
