[Subscription] Loyalty Program: Discount for Long Term Subscribers

For subscribers that dont have a lapse in their subscriptions - an incentive could be that every year you get 10% of your subscription price up to 50% off after 5 years of continuous membership!

Great idea and i very much vouch for this. Sadly it will get to a point where I will not feel comfortable paying £9.99, I feel that students benefit from this service very much so despite the loyalty towards being a premium member. Can Spotify explain why they do not have plans to offer decreasing subscription prices for long term members rather than just saying they wont?

It's so cheap already, and spotify is STILL LOSING MONEY. They are never gonna drop prices, in fact a raise is far more likely. I could imagine they might announce a price rise for normal accounts, AND discounts for long term members, at the same time...

It seems that this idea ended up in the wrong board accidentally, so we're bringing it back.

It's been over a decade since I became a Spotify Premium subscriber. I still remember the old days way back when Spotify Premium + Hulu is still available. I switched to Spotify Family plan in 2016 and I've been on the same plan since then. While I appreciate the service, I'm disappointed that there's no recognition for long-term users like myself.

New subscribers often get discounted pricing, but existing users, who have consistently supported Spotify for years, are offered no such benefits. This has been a recurring request from many subscribers for years, and it's disappointing that it's been ignored.

It would be greatly appreciated if Spotify implement a loyalty program or discount for existing Spotify Premium subscribers based on their plan and subscription length. This could be in the form of a tiered system with increasing benefits for longer subscriptions (e.g., discounts on premium tiers, exclusive content, early access to new features, etc.).

This program would not only demonstrate appreciation for loyal customers but also incentivize long-term subscriptions and encourage existing users to continue using Spotify for years to come.

I believe it's time Spotify acknowledged its most loyal users, and rewarded them for their continued support.
