2021 Top Songs slideshow doesn't work

When I play my Top Songs 2021 slideshow in my iPhone app I get only a black screen with a replay button in the center that does nothing.

I found a solution. I think the problem was that my phone was not connected via wifi and I have cell data turned off for Spotify. This must have prevented the Top Songs slideshow from downloading.

I really hate how uninformative and unintuitive the Spotify UI is.
