I see most of Anita baker's catalog has been removed! It would be nice to have some sort of explanation when I artist we have followed has their music removed!

Due to certain copyright restrictions and legal requirements, Spotify may not always have every song available for listening. Songs and albums are generally removed or not allowed to be added because of a request from either the artist or the recording company.

Is there something missing that you were expecting to see? Go ahead and submit a request here to find out about missing content.

I understand & already knew all that! My point is, Anita Baker's catalog has been available ever since I became a suscriber. I downloaded some of her songs a couple of weeks ago, now they're gone! Spotify alerts when artists /songs are added! They can do the same when they're removed!

I completely agree. I pay for Spotify mainly for my Uber passengers and Anita Baker's catalog was my go-to selection. Very disappointed! First Prince, now Anita. I swear I'm a single breath away from saying f*ck it and cancelling my subscription completely!

We are paying Spotify to keep these albums accessible.  They should use the money to work it out with the artists and or recording companies.  I can't accept their answer.

When these sort of things happens, it's usually by request of the artists or their record companies.

I don't think Spotify has much to do about it.

I noticed, earlier this year, that my absolutely favorite song from Anita's Rapture album had been removed...Been So Long. It started with that song.

Now, I see just about everything has been wiped clean. Really terrible!
