Spotify announces plans to remove heavy metal music

If this is correct then it's bye bye Spotify. I will not pay to use a service that has removed my favourite music.

“It’s clear that advertisers are not comfortable maintaining affiliation with companies that provide its customers with music that has a direct link to violence in youth and promotes things such as school shootings”

There's a hell of a lot of non-metal music that I'd be a lot more worried about. Go back 60-odd years and people were panicking about Elvis.

Just another warning not to believe everything that gets on Facebook (not that I go there).
