My Question or Issue

I've tried to block one artist over and over with the "don't play this artist" function and it doesn't work! She's the only musical artist I actively can't stand, and yet she still keeps appearing on recommended playlists/new music playlists. I've tried everything mentioned on other threads - installing/reinstalling the app, unblocking/reblocking the artist, none of the songs it keeps trying to force me to listen to are featured tracks, etc. I've logged into Spotify on three different computers, two phones, and a tablet, and it's the same issue. I had to look at a huge picture of her on the New Music Friday banner first thing in the morning today and that was the last straw. I absolutely cannot stand this person, someone please help me make it so I never have to see or hear her again!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

Can you go to the artist profile > 3-dot menu > Don't play this. This should block all content from that artist on all your devices. Note that if a song is featuring that artists it might still be played.

If you did, can you let us know if the song of the artist plays in the playlists or if the song gets skipped?
