My Question or Issue

I have a problem playing a new song: "Keine bösen Wörter" by Finch and Alligatoah. Here's the link: https://open.spotify.com/track/7eH02ODwoSf5jW00VoNihc?si=09Co9j5vSxeGisih0i6A7A

 

I can play all the other songs I want to listen to, but Spotify won't allow me to listen to this one.

Thanks for posting on the Community about this. 
 

Could you provide us with some more info about the issue you observe? For example, let us know what happens once you click on the song to play it. 

 

If you get an error message, send us a screenshot displaying it. You can attach the image to your next response to us by using the Insert Photos option in the post editor. This way we can take a closer look at the issue.  

 

Also, let us know if this is the only track by this artist that you can't play and what happens when you play other tracks made by them.

When I click on the song, there are two cases:

1. There are songs in the queue: Then the next song in the queue is played.

2. No songs in queue: No song is played and the bar showing the song which is played at the moment vanishes (like I just opened the app and haven't listened to any songs before).

 

I could listen to all the other songs (at least those i tested) of the two artists and of all other artists so far.

Thanks for getting back to us. 

 

Could you confirm if you still experience the same after running a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device? This will remove corrupted data that could be causing the issue. 

 

It's also a good idea to ensure that no battery optimization settings or data cleaning apps run active on your mobile device. Such features can often prevent the app from operating at full capacity. We also suggest accessing the app settings and making sure all Permissions are granted for Spotify. 

 

If you still can't play the particular song after trying out these steps, send us a short video recording displaying what you see when clicking on the song. Just attach the video to your next response to us by using the Insert Video option in the post editor.

unfortunately it is still the case. I took a pretty short video to get under 5MB, which seems to be the limit. You can see, that there is one song in the queue, if I press on "Keine bösen Wörter", the song in the queue is played, if I press it again, the bar vanishes.

Would you mind letting us know if this happens across devices or only on your phone?

 

Additionally, could you send over the song's URI? To get it, open the Spotify desktop app > click the three dots next to the content > Share > Copy Spotify URI.

Thanks for your reply. 

 

We tested it on our end and it works fine.

 

In this case, could you ask a friend or a relative to log in to their account in your device to check if the issue persists using a different account?

 

Also, we recommend trying with a different network.

Thank you for the great support. I just found out, that one of the interprets was blocked on my phone, so I just had to allow Spotify to play content of this interpret. I am very sorry for taking your time and am very grateful for the support!
