My American friend’s two playlists have suddenly become inaccessible to me. They are greyed out in my playlists, sort of load, but won’t play and then produce the error message ‘this content isn’t available right now’ with an option to remove from library

How do I get her playlists to load again?

Hey @Wilson319, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

 

This could happen due to content availability reasons. The copyright owner can decide to take down their content or restrict them in certain regions which could be why you are not able to play them. 

 

Once the licensing deals are back in place, you should be able to find them in the app as usual.

 

That's what usually happens, however, you can try accessing the same content on different devices/platforms (desktop app, web player) to confirm. For more info and troubleshooting steps, check out the following articles:
