Cover dates and profile positioning them

If I publish a cover today 23/8 it doesnt appear in my profile as last release 23 8, it appears as an old release with the real song date position in my galery, lets say its from 1980, it will appear as my first song ever even if i wasnt even born, kind of confusing, and the date position in my profile should be the mecanical new recorded song.**bleep**
