My Question or Issue

Was on an artist page, then « You liked », and I scrolled to the «Liked releases » section. Clicked on a deleted album, titles appeared. Here was some titles I liked before but the album was deleted by the artist. I tried to play one and an empty message pop-up just pops in.

I think this is a small bug but enougth to report it.

Hi folks!

Our tech team has confirmed a fix for this in an upcoming version of the app. The pop-up is displayed when attempting to play unavailable content and should look like this:

Once again thanks for making Spotify better. The Community is always here if something else comes up.

Have a good one!

I don’t think that this is the problem of the song, but the app itself when I click on that one song, I just get a white pop-up screen without text and a button “Got It!”. The song is unwelcome school

Hi folks,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Interesting. There could've been a temporary issue with the app, so try logging out (from Settings > Log out), then signing back in to your account - this will force a resync that may help here. If the issue persists, try performing a clean reinstall of Spotify.

In case the issue persists, would you mind sharing the following info so we look further into this?:

  • a link to the song/album in question
  • a screenshot / short screen recording which shows what's happening on your end

@Jugid, if you had any liked songs from that album in the list on the artist page, check if tapping the three dots menu on one of them > View album would result in the same error.

We'll be on the lookout for your replies. Cheers!

Hi !

This is the link : https://open.spotify.com/album/62f3yVpi23o1YepGRLsSQI?si=7862CIAaSO6WdMbut0Lp3A

and so, I cannot add a screenshot without being signed in. Will try it soon. But it’s just a blank pop-up with a « Got it ! » button when I try to play the album.

I don’t have the problem on liked songs since the songs from this deleted album does not appear. Weird that the deleted album appears.

Also, I have the same problème in liked title as this one appears and results in the same way. https://open.spotify.com/track/2BYiWgDk243sjYEDjs2agc?si=b37_3BNlTWGNJdlhM_v_1A

Thanks for the info @Jugid!

Alright folks, We've forwarded this to our tech team who'll investigate further. We'll keep you posted here when we have any new info to share. In the meantime, make sure to keep the app up to date.

Take care!
