Featured artists removed?

Twice this week I stumbled upon tracks where a featured artist is removed? 

1. Enrique Iglesias - Taking back my love 

Which used to be ft. Ciara and is now with some other chick

2. Maroon 5 - Never see your face again

It still says ft Rhianna, but she doesn't appear in the track anymore?

Anyone in here with some answers?

It seems kinda odd that an artist would want to remove themselves from tracks "this old"

its the artist that made the song reposting them  i wanted awsers to so i looked at the songs i had 2 of and one said ft and the hother dident

We checked out the songs that you're referring to, and it seems that the information on them is accurate:

1) Enrique Iglesias - Takin' Back My Love 

There are several versions of this song, some are featuring Ciara, but there is also one which is featuring Sarah Connor. There's a good Wikipedia article on the different version of this song here.

2) Maroon 5 - If I Never See Your Face Again

I listened to the track myself and Rihanna comes in at around 0:33
