My Question or Issue

Since the latest update (version 8.6.32.925) the device I'm listening on/from is displayed in the "now playing" bar at the bottom of the app. It takes up almost 50% of the space in the bar and it seems really unnecessary. If I want to identify my device, I'll go to settings, I don't need it forced like that when I'm trying to see what I'm listening to.
It seems to be related to the group session beta version as well.

Is there any way at all to disable it? I've tried looking through settings, but there's nothing useful there.

Hey @azizifer,

Thanks for your post!

Currently it's not possible to remove the field informing you which device is playing.

It would be great if you leave your feedback in this new Library feedback thread. All user feedback from there is being directly passed on to the dev team, who are looking to improve the app in future updates.

Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.
