Lyric source in Spotify-WebApp

Hi, I was wondering if the song lyrics on the web app are also from Musixmatch or if they are added/generated otherwise? I am not talking about the ones you can access via the microphone button in the footer bar, but the static lyric page that opens when you click the song title, which is only possible in the web app apparently. Since there is no tag saying where the lyrics are coming from, I wanted to check that before opening a ticket at Musixmatch.

Musixmatch are Spotify's official lyric provider, so any lyrics you see within the app or web player, regardless of where you see them, come from them. Have you noticed a song has lyrics on the app but not in the web player? If so, let us know more so we can help you out. If instead you were looking to report lyrics missing altogether or containing mistakes, you can send a request to Musixmatch or let us know so we can forward it for you.

Hello there Joan,

I have actually found a case where it is the other way around. For the song 'The Sun' by 'SidKidB' I can not access the lyrics via the microphone button neither in app nor the web player. However in the web player I can see a lyrics  page when I click the song title.

My main issue is that the lyrics there are wrong and not the ones I submitted to Musixmatch last week, but I can't edit them there anymore because they had some AI Assistant "correct" my transcription and I can't fix it because the Assistant outranks my editor level... But that shouldn't be of concern to you, I'm just finding that hilarious right now and will continue bugging them with my issue then.
