Music genres management

Would be so nice if the user got the possibility to manage the preferred music styles and by that adjusting which styles would you like to be recommended to and which not.

An example with my particular case. I keep getting recommended to synthwave, powerwave and that new kind of music reminiscent of old 80s electronic rhythms.
And no matter how many songs I dislike in the discovery trend, no matter how many times Spotify answes me with "Ok we won't recommend music like this again" and no matter how many artists I block; Spotify keeps recommending me these music styles.
Probably the reason for this is because I got a couple of songs in my favorites playlist which may use some electronic synths, but come on Spotify... can the algorithm understand for once that I don't want it?

For a paid music service this is something so basic and indispensable that I cannot comprehend it.
