Playlist Colors

I have an Android and I was wondering why on my app when I make my own playlist or view a playlist and click the little bubbles to the side it brings up options for my playlist and a bigger cover picture for the playlist. There is this colored like sound wave below the picture for the playlist. Does each color represent something different? Can I change these colors and if so how? Thanks.

Hey there! I think the colours are default and relate to the colours of the album artworks in the playlist. You could upload a custom photo through the browser (i'm not sure if you can do it on the mobile app) and maybe that would change the soundwave colour.
