Removing explicit podcasts from home page

My Question or Issue

Hi, 

Fo no reason, explicit podcasts would show up on my home page which is embarrassing when in public, family or with friends. There's no option to hide or change algorithm preference (rather to watch othe podcast to re fresh algorithm) which is inefficient in my opinion. I have seen other issues marked "not right now" but I believe this should be a priority as there are folks of every age on this platform and Spotify believes it's customer should have right to choose their content.

I had issues like this too but there is not any solution to be honest. The only thing I did was find out the podcast provider using links in the podcast and have them take it down.

At the moment, it's not possible to remove certain content from your Home Screen.  However, we recommend having a look at this Idea suggesting a way to customize it.

You can support the idea by adding your +VOTE and clicking on Subscribe in the three-dots menu in the top right corner next to the title. That'll make sure you stay up-to-date with any relevant updates about this.

There's already plenty of ideas about blocking explicit album artworks:

Unfortunately, none of them has been accepted by Spotify due to not receiving enough votes.

I’m having the same issue. Why do we have to send this to vote? That’s antique and out of context. Who wants to have a pair of bare **bleep** or two guys kissing with tongue on the home page? This type of issues are something that Spotify been ignoring saying that doesn’t have enough votes when adding a stupid “remove” button is something simple to add.

It shouldn't be about recieving just votes though, because that depends on if public searches for it and other factors too..if it's a common sense usability idea such as being able to customize home page which means people would use Spotify more then it should be added because I realized lack of customization is why I end up using Spotify less despite wanting to use it more due to being able to play same youtubers on Spotify on background.
