My Question or Issue

How do I search my many Spotify playlist folders for an album to see if I’ve already saved it?

Hey there @mkowales,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome 🙂

You can search for albums within your library by following these steps:

1. Go to Your Library.
2. At the top of the screen you'll see some tags: Playlists, Podcasts, Artists, Albums.
3. Select the "Albums" one.

This may vary across devices. This is how you'll see them on the desktop app and the web player:

You can also use the search icon to open a quick search bar. You can write the name of the album there, and if you saved it previously, it'll appear.

this isn’t a complete solution, it is a helpful partial solution.

i use the spotify app on a macbook & this is what i did:

Go to Your Library. At the top of the screen you'll see some tags: Playlists, Podcasts, Artists, Albums. Select the "Playlists" one.

You can also use the search icon to open a quick search bar. You can write the name of the album there, and if you saved it previously, it'll appear.
