Shuffle/ non-shuffle playlist

Recently about 2 weeks ago I started listening to this new playlist that was recommended under Spotify, called 'workout'. Initially for about a week, it was 'non shuffle' (i.e. I could choose which songs to play). However over the past few days, it kept rotating between shuffle and non shuffle? 

Why is this so? It's so frustrating as I clearly prefer the non-shuffle version which was introduced to me initially.

I am having the same problem.  I have a playlist that up until yesterday would play the song I selected and all songs going forward from that point in the order they are saved to my playlist.   I have the premium subscription to Spotify.  Yesterday when I selected a playlist to listen to it shuffled my playlist.  I did not select the shuffle option. It did it again today. I have not checked to see what happens when I actually do select shuffle.
