My Question or Issue

I have a question regarding how listening data is attributed in Spotify Wrapped. I’m a frequent listener of Rawayana, and I’ve also been listening to Astropical, the recent collaborative project between Rawayana and Bomba Estéreo.

Since Astropical is a temporary supergroup formed by members of both bands—and not a permanent or independent band—I’m wondering: if I listen to Astropical songs, do those streams count toward my Rawayana listening stats in Spotify Wrapped?

For example, if I listen to 10 Rawayana songs and 5 Astropical songs, will those 5 additional songs contribute to Rawayana’s stream count in my Wrapped, or are they counted separately under Astropical?

If the latter, it feels like a misrepresentation of my actual listening habits, especially since my listening of Astropical is primarily driven by my interest in Rawayana.

Hello @_joseguevara!

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. I'll try to help you clear things up.

In this case, since the Astropical songs also include Rawayana as an artist in the song's metadata, streaming those songs will also influence your Wrapped stats for this group.

Hope this helps!
