Hello,
I had a song added to a playlist called 'House Music' by the profile 'Artister.io' without my consent. Researching a bit I found the playlist to be somewhat suspicious, according to the site "https://artister.io" this profile charges to have music added to their playlists, but I did not pay to have my music added to any of their playlists. I wonder how to proceed in this case, cause I don't want to have my artist profile related to any playlists that use bots or something like that.
Thank you all 🙂

Hi there @Derelictdream,
Thanks for the post. We've passed this info on to the team which is working on these cases.
Cheers.
I got added the same way as you have
but I have been added to two playlists…
one is this one: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0bswzMYtA7e8izxrDr16SV?si=jJdHCQpySYWsC6sHNC030g
the other one is this one:
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3NAvioRHRggG9YqBWNcsFZ?si=oii8aTk2QsqvKqKSYXH2Fg
what do I do with this?
and this is the song that has been added to their playlists :
https://open.spotify.com/track/0jJdqEJ7b6EPUcwvrYtJdn?si=vjv4ROIxQma16uqgy4F3iA
P.S. i have already filed a few complaints on these playlists today
Hi, we have a similar situation related to the WAVR.AI playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3NAvioRHRggG9YqBWNcsFZ
Our song is Jaguar by Aves. We do not know why our song has been added there. The playlist seems to have been created by a bot. I have also filed a complaint about the playlist today.
Same here as well, I have reached out to spotify in the emails multiple times because I was added to 2 suspicious playlist and nothing happened, my listeners are steady going up but I know it's fake and it really takes out the feeling of accomplishment, I just really hope they would do something about these playlist just at will taking anyone's song and placing it onto their fake playlist and boching their careers. I made sure to screenshot all my interactions with spotify just in case they try to wrongfully punish me for something completely out of my control.
Hello, My song has been added to 2 suspicious playlist without consent and without me even knowing. the streams where they come are off putting and the stream numbers compared to the likes is so low. I want my song to be on spotify for long time and i want to report these fake botted playlists. they are not mine and i dont want to do nothing with them. i want to build a proper fanbase. the only playlist i have been were playlists of my friends but i do not know whose playlists these are. and i repeat i have not paid for these services, i have no idea who they are and no idea my song was in these playlists once i check this morning. this is truly upsetting, i was excited to see before knowing the playlist that its getting streams to only realising and figuring out that this is bots.
These are the playlists who i want to report as i do not want my taken down due to these bots ruining my hardwork, they are very suspicious. I did a investigation through checking the playlist streams on each account. most of them are so low. so its clear they are picking new songs from underground artist. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3VbJI8VG6PLmtPD5tfCV7X
Hi
My song also ended up on two playlists of wavr.io/artister.io
Weekly discovery
Fresh hiphop
I never asked to be added.
I have asked Distrokid to take my song down from Spotify which I have read is the only way to get off such a playlist.
Pls remove those users from spotify.
regards Magnus
Any update on this I'm having the same problem a year later. I reached out to support and all they told me was the numbers were "accurate" even though I have 14 streams per listener
My song wass added again to wavr.ai fake playlist. Please do something about them. O dont want fakes and bots associated. Song is: TomDan - Desert Sunrise

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4WEzE1rZUjgtlmiFRngnpU?si=bcf8a01788d3402d This one recently added my song too it
Hi, i recently uploaded my first single to Spotify and this spam playlist added my song to it and I didn't pay for anything. Here's the playlist link https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4WEzE1rZUjgtlmiFRngnpU?si=05df8ab4ce9d43c8 My song is "Making Waves" by Zeke. Thanks
We get added there because we use the wheel at Distrokid. all that use the wheel at Distrokid get placed there.
all depends do you trust Distrokid or not?
Distrokid is the one that makes this happen. Idk why but they do. i used a few others and i did not touch the wheel for 1 song. Only songs added to the Wavr.AI are the ones you use the wheel on. Not another company i tried. i tried a few.. Only Distrokids Wheel of playlists make this "connection"
I was also added to the same playlist! (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4WEzE1rZUjgtlmiFRngnpU?si=07cb36b6eb9740cb) My song is Clinically Sane - Eternal Recurrence.
Contacted the chat and they said the following:
"I'm afraid we can’t remove songs from Spotify users’ personal playlists.
If you believe a playlist infringes on your copyright, trademark, personal image, or identity, you can submit a claim by following these steps:
1. Click/tap the 3 dots near the title of the playlist in question
2. Select 'Report'
3. Choose the appropriate topic
4. Complete the form and click/tap 'Submit'"
I've reported them, but my Spotify profile for artists stopped refreshing today. I did not used the Distrokid Wheel playlist... Hopefully it gets solved
My song had been added twice to an Artister.io fake playlist. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6GfbNkjOoZCRKG6Z8oMhY6?si=VylfhyoYR7SNmxPrXRgQ1w
First time (a month ago) I removed my song from Spotify an reported the playlist since they didn’t take my song off there playlist when i contacted them. Eventually my song got off so i put the song back on Spotify. Now same thing happened again so i have to ti the whole procedure again. I don’t want Spotify to remove all my music. Pls remove artister.io instead. You seem to have got tons of complaints about them in this thread for years.
The playlist I was added was finally removed! The report playlists work!
Same thing happened to me over the past 3 days; I went from 76 monthly listeners to 254 in 72 hours. Today, a wavr.ai playlist showed up in my spotify for artists toolkit. Like you, I want to grow fans, listens, and streams organically; but this feels like a stain in the stats. From what I've read elsewhere, songs tend to make it onto these type of playlists when you put them on the 'Wheel of Playlist' feature in Distrokid. I cannot undeniably confirm that this is true or not, but I did recently submit a track and continued to submit the same track using the Wheel of Playlist feature in DK over the last 3 days. So there is definitely a strong correlation here. I'm gone from DK because of this, and will be requesting to not have my music distributed to Spotify in the future as well. While it's only 1-2 songs that are being impacted, I have already signed up with a new Distribution service. As soon as I'm live on the new service, I'll be pulling my music down from DK.
Hi,
My song has been added to a boted playlist from WAVR.AI
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1l7aBfYqeTzjRmEa2u0TfK?si=31ad82745a6d46e0
It's ruining every marketing i've created to have real followers and similar artist.
Can someone help me to remove my song from this playlist?
I've reached out to them and they don't answer.
Song is position 431 "A light in the abyss".
Thanks a lot!
Keep reporting it daily friend. My music was eventually removed as the playlist was taken down. Unfortunately, my similar artists and stats got all messed up. But there's nothing much you can do. I've reported the playlist too. Hope it helps.
Just happened to me with my new release. While it’s awesome to get 600 plays in a day, I’d love to know if they were legit… they took me off after one day, but all those streams came from Helsinki….
