I was listening to Van Halen on Spotify on my Vizio Smart TV just now. For some reason, I looked up the Artist instead of just going off my playlists, and noticed almost all of VH's Dave-era albums now have remastered versions alongside the originals. So I hop on my computer to update my playlists, and find the remastered versions nowhere on the Spotify Mac client. Are they not available for some reason, or is the Mac client not listing them, or are they not supposed to be available in the US and my TV is listing them when it shouldn't, or.........?

Ahh, I see what the issue is now. I mainly use the Spotify desktop app for music streaming. In order to get to the Remasters being offered on the Van Halen artist page from the Spotify desktop apps, the user has to load up the Album pages of each release of the classic Roth era of the bands material. When any of those album pages are loaded up there should be a bubble in the lower right hand corner with a down arrow and a number inside of the bubble of other release versions available based on that original release, click the down arrow and click on the other release will load the Remastered versions available from the artist page. Seems the Van Halen artist page is showing the original releases by default from the Spotify desktop apps, and users can only get to the Remastered releases from each album page while using the Spotify desktop app.
The Vizio Smart TV Internet Spotify app must display the content from artist pages in a slightly different way than the Spotify desktop apps. I guess I will have to try and update my Vizio Smart TV firmware manually from USB stick, and see what the Spotify app does with regards of displaying artist page content. I had to disable my Smart TV Internet Hub access to my home network, as their was a bug with my last firmware update, the bug caused the Smart TV to be in a constant load mode all the time trying to connect to the Internet, and I have not used the Vizio Smart TV Internet Hub for a long time because of it.
Well allot of merging multiple releases together it had to do with the fact some releases ends up on artist pages with multiple versions added and they are the same releases with the exact same songs, not bonus content releases, or even deluxe versions. Usually artist pages will go ahead and show these remastered releases along side an older standard release that is still available on the Spotify service. Led Zeppelin's artist page is set up to display content this way correctly, showing older releases available and the remasters that have been added to the Spotify service. I suppose I could send this on to be looked into and see if this is just not a meta data issue with displaying the content correctly for the desktop app users.
