"Couldn't load the lyrics for this song" error

As of version 8.8.20.544 and the version prior to that has caused the lyrics from my personal playlist in my device 'Samsung-SMJ250F' to disappear, at first I thought it was brcause the songs were old but way older songs still had lyrics
The playlist is a private playlist featuring all songs of 'DragonForce'
and after the update none of the songs had lyrics.

Well if it disappeared from youtube music aswell, it probably has something to do with legal reasons like the rights to have the lyrics. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me as why such thing would imply that lyrics should not be available but that moderator dodged the question like it was a bullet lol

My Question or Issue

Some time ago, I noticed that on some songs, I got the message "Couldn't load the lyrics for this song. Try again later". I am 100% sure that they were available before, and I noted also that it was not the message "You caught us, we're still working on getting lyrics for this one", or any messages for musics with unknown lyrics.

I can give 2 example is case it helps :

- Styx Helix from Myth & Roid

- Mayday, from coldrain
I also checked if the lyrics were actually on Musixmatch, and they were indeed.

• Is this on all devices or only on Windows?
• When did this start happening?
• Do you always get the aforementioned error or are the lyrics just missing sometimes?
• Screenshots or a video of the behaviour

The problem happens on every device I am logged on (smartphone too)

I don't remember when it started, but it's been at least several months

I always get this message on every music it appeared on, and never went away.

The first song works fine, the second get the problem, and the third don't have lyrics on spotify.

You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

On another note, could you send us the URI of the songs you mentioned? We'll take a closer look.

Hi ! for a couple days I noticed that lyrics aren’t showing anymore, I tried to listen to other music but none are showing the lyrics, however my brother spotify does show the lyrics. I tried multiple times to uninstall the app and emptying the cache, but nothing happened. Please help me it’s really annoying…

I am 100% sure that the lyrics for these songs were available at some point, so I don't think the issue is that the lyrics are not available. You can see in the video the difference between the lyrics unavailable and the lyrics loading error.

i think you should add lyrics to eminem- mockingbird, The real Slim Shady, Superman, Without Me.

I'm using the mobile app for Android, and for many songs the lyrics were replaced with an "About the Artist" section with no option for view lyrics anymore.

Myself and many others on the forum would rather see the lyrics than the "About the Artist" section. Please reinstate the lyrics as default, or at least show both widgets instead of outright replacing the lyrics section.

this is happen when my canvas feature is back, since this feature (canvas) is gone for a long time, so when my canvas feature is back the lyrics feature is gone:( help me to solve the problem pls. thankyou so much!

Since a few weeks I haven't seen any lyrics for any songs and not even the lyrics tag below the song titles. I've tried to uninstall and re install multiple but with with avail.

Onde antes ficava o recurso “letras” agora só se encontra a opção “sobre o artista” e “merchandising”. Já fiz de tudo pra tentar achar letras, atualizei, desinstalei, reiniciei meu celular. O recurso letras não se encontra disponível apesar de quando eu pesquisar o Spotify me informar através dos seus canais que esse recurso ainda existe. Estou frustrado 😢

My spotify app doesn't show lyrics to any of the songs, there's no lyrics on the lyric bar instead of lyrics it shows about artist even though there's an option about artist but lyrics aren't showing

All of a sudden the songs lyrics doesn't show anymore, its just showing "about artist" and never the lyrics. I connected with someone and they told me It's something new and spotify is trying somethings before update. I am really glad for you guys trying to do new things but I would really like to have the lyrics back again..
