Hi there!
Does anyone know, if the Linux Desktop Client supports Spotify Connect and Volume Control? I want to use my Android phone to control the Linux Desktop Client on my Raspberry Pi.
Thanks in advance,
Juergen

Yes, working like a charm : )
Hi!
Yes! Spotify Connect is available for Linux! https://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Desktop-Linux-Windows-Web/spotify-connect-for-linux-client/td-... Ensure that you have the latest version first.
Note*: Spotify Connect also works on Speakers that has Spotify Connect built-in. there's lots of Spotify partners out there that make devices that support Spotify connect. Check this page for more info https://www.spotify.com/connect/ .
*Just want to add information 🙂
Hope this helps 🙂
Hi @teeausgang,
I can confirm what @user-removed said, I don't have any issues with Spotify connect.
I am running Spotify client on Ubuntu 15.04 and I am able to control it with my Android 4.2 phone.
Thanks for the replies and the link.
Can you also confirm, that the Volume Control feature is also working?
