Local files not working even with ffmpeg-compat-57

My Question or Issue

It can't play the local files anymore. The old solutions of installing ffmpeg-compat-57 package doesn't work. This comment on AUR suggests downgrading some other packages: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/spotify/#comment-760305 But no way I gonna downgrade packages just for spotify.

I suspect this problem won't be temporary. I mean, the linux version of spotify is rarely updated. Unless the fault lies on the ffmpeg library.

Were you ever able to find a solution to this besides downgrading? Some of my local files are playable, but some result in Spotify crashing.
