Spotify web doesn't identify the app

My Question or Issue

Hello, I'm having a  problem with my current spotify installation, I installed on my operating system through this command: yay -S spotify

And after being done with the installation, I noticed that the web browser doesnt seem to identify that I have the app, when I try to enter a jam for an example the webplayer doesnt let me open the app, and this is frustrating because I enter jams all the time with my coworkers and my girlfriend, so I'd appreciate some help.
