The window never opens in latest version

My Question or Issue

I can't update after version 1.2.9.743. I have tried at least 2 different versions after that. The window never opens. No error message. I have tried with both strace and gdb.

I guess there is a new dependency added that I'm missing. I installed it with the PKGBUILD from AUR. I have all dependencies listed there, but my system is very different from Arch.

How can i find out what I'm missing?
