W [audio_file_decompressor_ffmpeg.cpp:731] Failed to open stream: -2

Solved!

W [audio_file_decompressor_ffmpeg.cpp:731] Failed to open stream: -2

some files could not be played on linux client, for example Beardfish: Voluntary Slavery; another song from the same album (Ludvig & Sverker) plays just fine; there are many more songs affected; same with spotify & spotify-beta (arch linux packages)

how to reproduce:

1) find mentioned song

2) double click to play

symptoms:

1) play bar stucks at whatever position it was in

2) no sound

3) until i play another song, nothing happens

i started spotify from command line, here's the relevant output:

ha, looks like spotify found some local mp3s (right before i deleted them), but kept them in library ('local files') and when i later wanted to play the same songs, things happened as described

i looked in preferences, but no local file source was present; i added directory and 'local files' were updated, missing mp3s disappeared and everything works again

thus marking as solved
