Whiteout in Ubuntu with Spotify Preview

Whiteout in Ubuntu with Spotify Preview

Hoping I'm not alone with this but I'm getting a whited-out screen when running the desktop client. I recently tweaked my theme but it appears that Spotify is not resetting back.

Intel® Core™ i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz × 4 PC (8GB RAM using the inbuilt Intel GFX (it's a work machine)  running 64 bit Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS

Trying to login the username and password fields do not show the content (white text on a white background) and when using the system various items white out as per the attached screen shot.

Any help you can give would be very appreciated.

Hello @BrizzleRocker,

I just checked the logs and could not find anything suspicious.

Can you please let me know what version of Spotify you are using?

I would suggest you to install latest non-stable version and see if the issue persists.

You can find it here.

Thanks @Dreadlord

The version is 0.9.17.1.g9b85d436. I should also mention that I have completely removed & reinstalled it twice and it's still doing it so I suspect an external graphics issue more than Spotify but just wondered if anyone else had the same problem.

Will try the non-stable today.

Thanks again.
