Accesspoint:39 Error

Accesspoint:39 Error

Plan

Duo Premium.

Country

Finland.

Device

MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2019).

Operating System

MacOS Catalina 10.15.6.

My Question or Issue

After switching to Duo Premium yesterday, I get Accesspoint:39 error. I'm not the person paying for Duo Premium.

What I've Tried

Logging in on my Huawei P30 Pro. That worked, could listen to music with no issues.

Logging in to the web player. That worked, could listen to music with no issues.

I have tried different proxy settings (proxy/no proxy).

I have made sure my country is correct.

I have edited the hosts file as instructed here. I also did the DNS cache flush.

Uninstalled, turned off the laptop, reinstalled. Four times.

Turned off firewall (temporarily).

"Visited" Singapore with VPN, tried to log in (couldn't), and then returned to Finland promptly to see if that would do anything. Didn't do anything.

Gone up to page three in Google only to discover that it's filled with Spanish discussions of the issue (a language I, unfortunately, do not understand).

What I've Yet To Try

Chanting ominously in dead languages? I don't know what else I could do, that's why I'm here.

Hey there @Naavaparta,

Welcome to the Community!

Can you confirm to us that you've performed a clean reinstallation of the app and not just deleting it and reinstalling it. You can check out this Spotify Answer for a guide on how to do a clean reinstall, which is a bit different than a normal reinstallation.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

The clean reinstall worked for me! But I'm on a Macbook running Sierra 10.12.6.

Hi @Kaizhou,

Thanks for letting us know that the clean reinstall helped 🙂

@Naavaparta, are you still having issues with this one?

Keep us posted.
