Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. I missed the email about your reply.

I think I can close this issue because this hasn't happened since updating to the most recent version of Spotify.

If it does happen again, I'll come back here.

Thanks!

Dillon

Hi @DillonB07,

Thank you for posting on the Community!

It's very odd that your songs are getting interrupted by ads, but there are some things we can check here.

To start, we'd like to know if you've tried using a different device to check if the same happens.

Also, have you noticed any pattern to when this happens? Like the content of the ads, the songs you're playing, etc.?

Keep us posted.

Thanks for the response,

I haven't tested it on another device, because I don't have another device to test it on.

It doesn't happen particularly often, but it happens when I'm listening to my playlist.

However, I don't really listen to other things unless it finishes, so that might not be related.

Thanks,

DillonB07

Hi @DillonB07,

Thank you for keeping in touch.

In order to assist you further we'd like to have more information about this, since the issue doesn't happen that often.

Could you try using the Web Player and let us know if the same happens?

Also, does it happen only with that specific playlist or any other you play?

Keep us posted.

. I paid premium mainly to avoid ads , please give an explanation on why am I hearing ads about Spotify while streaming music .

sometimes at the beginning of playlist sometimes in the middle ,always ad about Spotify

Hi there @Salmath,

Thanks for your reply in this thread.

Bear in mind that even with Premium, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages. However, you shouldn't get any interruptions while listening to music. Is the ad you get audio? Or is it a picture or pop-up? If possible, could you send a screenshot or video recording of it? You can attach it in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public, so we can visualize it.

In the meantime, try logging out and back in twice in a row to re-sync your account and device, Also, make sure you're logging into your correct Premium account.

We'll be here.
